My Home Town
I live in a small city in East Java. I have lived here since I was
born and for that, I have been living here for 20 years. My hometown is
Lumajang where is well-known as Banana Town. There is a specific reason why
Lumajang is called Banana Town. That name is related with the uniqueness of
Lumajang and what Lumajang has. Below is the more detailed information about my
beloved town.
Besides having the uniqueness, Lumajang also has special dishes and
attractive tourism objects. The special dishes are still made by banana as the
main ingredient, such as banana chips, kolak, banana-sale, banana bread,
steamed banana, and traditional cake named nagasari. Lumajang also distributes
banana to other towns, including banana chips. Lumajang has a number of
outstanding tourism objects as well. The tourism objects in Lumajang are
Lumajang Town Square that is always crowded every day especially on Saturday
night and Sunday morning, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Bambang beach which has black
sand, Manda Giri Temple which is used for historical object, Gucialit Tea
Garden, Mount Semeru, B29, Ranu Kumbolo Lake, Selokambang Natural Pool, and
still many more. Each tourism object is always full of people on weekdays,
especially on holidays.
Lumajang is one of the beautiful towns in East Java. It has its own
uniqueness that shows the identity of Lumajang. It also has many special dishes
and tourism objects that make it becomes a famous town.
